SAP Business ByDesign ist eine innovative Lösung für den Mittelstand im Segment von 50 bis 500 Mitarbeitern. Es handelt sich um eine kompakte komplette Suite mit einer breiten Abdeckung der Geschäftsbereiche und modularem Aufbau. SAP Net-Weaver dient dabei als Technologieplattform. Die Anpassung des Systems an Kundenanforderungen ist sehr einfach möglich, bspw. können Kunden bereits innerhalb weniger Stunden ein auf sie angepasstes Trialsystem nutzen, um ohne Brüche im weiteren Prozess darin die notwendigen Anpassungen bis hin zu einem produktiv einsetzbaren System durchführen.In SAP Business ByDesign kommen drei wichtige Schlüsselprinzipien in einer Lösung erstmals zusammen: Enterprise SOA, modellbasierte Entwicklung und die Bereitstellung als Software-as-a-Service. Ausgehend von den Anforderungen des Mittelstands wird aufgezeigt, wie es die Kombination dieser Schlüsselprinzipien ermöglicht, die Bedarfe des Mittelstands hinsichtlich Interoperabilität, Erweiterbarkeit, Transparenz, Robustheit der Lösung und geringen Gesamtkosten zu erfüllen.AbstractSAP Business ByDesign is an innovative business solution for midsize companies with 50 to 500 employees.
