Zusammenfassung
Die zunehmende Verbreitung des Instruments Ganzheitliche Bilanzierung (GaBi) zur Technikfolgenabschätzung und dessen Anwendung bei komplexen Problemstellungen sind durch wachsendes Datenvolumen Motivation für den Computereinsatz. Am IKP wurde diese Entwicklung frühzeitig erkannt, denn seit 1991 wird das GaBi-System kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und mittlerweile in der zweiten Version in vielen Industrieunternehmen eingesetzt. Das ergonomisch gestaltete Software-Paket GaBi 2.0 (Volz u.a. 1997) ermöglicht die übersichtliche Verwaltung erhobener Daten und erhöht mit vielen Funktionen die Transparenz des modellierten Lebenszyklus. Ziele der Neu-Entwicklung GaBi 3.0 sind unter anderem die Verringerung des zur Ganzheitlichen Bilanzierung notwendigen Aufwands unter Einhaltung der erforderlichen Vertrauensbereiche der Resultate und die systematische Analyse- und Prognoseunterstützung. Das im Vortrag präsentierte System GaBi 3.0 wird voraussichtlich Ende 1997 fertiggestellt.
The increasing dissemination of the instrument for the assessment of consequences of technique, Life Cycle Engineering (LCE), and its application to complex problems together with the growing data requirements are motivating the use of computers. This development was recognized early at IKP. Therefore the development process of the software package GaBi, that started in 1991, is still going on. GaBi 2.0 is used by plenty of industrial enterprises and enables large amounts of data to be managed easily. Many features increase the transparency of a life cycle. The Goals of current development of GaBi 3.0 are among others to reduce the needed effort for LCE while meeting the required intervals of confidence and to guide systematic analysis and prognosis. The system GaBi 3.0 will be completed at the end of 1997.
