Im Kontext der Globalisierung, Urbanisierung und Digitalisierung entwickelt sich die moderne Stadt zu einem immer komplexeren Phänomen, das die Menschen vor große Herausforderungen stellt. Digitale Technologien können hier in vielen Bereichen einen Beitrag dazu leisten, das Leben in und mit der Stadt besser zu bewerkstelligen. Das wird mit dem Schlagwort „Smart City“ verbunden. Allerdings wird häufig kritisiert, dass der Fokus hierbei zu sehr auf Technologie und auf der Steigerung von Effizienz und zu wenig auf den Menschen liegt. Aus diesem Grund ist es notwendig die smarte Stadt um den Faktor Mensch hin zur Human Smart City weiterzuentwickeln. Hierbei macht es Sinn, die smarte Stadt als soziotechnisches System zu betrachten, in dem technische und soziale Komponenten zu einem Netz verknüpft sind, mit dem Ziel, die Bedürfnisse der Stadtbewohner zu befriedigen. Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt vor diesem Hintergrund Überlegungen zu einer Human Smart City-Architektur als Grundlage für zu entwickelnde IT-Architekturen smarter Städte vor. In the context of globalization, urbanization and digitization, the modern city is becoming an increasingly complex phenomenon that poses great challenges to citizens. Digital technologies can help to make life in and around the city better in many areas. This is associated with the buzzword “Smart City”. However, it is often criticized that the focus here is too much on technology and on efficiency and too little on the human factor. For this reason, it is necessary to expand the Smart City-concept by the human factor to create the Human Smart City. Hereby, it makes sense to regard the smart city as a socio-technical system in which technical and social components are linked to a network, with the aim of satisfying the needs of the citizens. Against this background, this article introduces considerations of a Human Smart City-architecture as the basis for developing IT architectures.
