Zusammenfassung
Der Aufbau eines möglichst effizienten und effektiven Cloud Operations Ansatzes ist ein aktuelles Thema in Organisationen, die sich auf dem Weg in die Cloud befinden. Gleichzeitig existieren bis heute nur wenige wissenschaftliche Studien, welche den optimalen Aufbau von Cloud Operations in Organisationen untersuchen. Diese Studie versucht diese Forschungslücke zu schließen, indem auf Basis einer qualitativen Fallstudie der Aufbau von Cloud Operations Ansätzen in einer weltweit tätigen Organisation untersucht. Im Rahmen der Fallstudie werden erste Ansätze in Bezug auf Cloud Operations Organisation, Prozesse und technologische Lösungen identifiziert, analysiert und gleichzeitig in einen Zusammenhang gebracht. Auf Basis dieser Ergebnisse zeigt die Studie zukünftige Forschungsschwerpunkte im Bereich Cloud Operations auf und bietet erste Anhaltspunkte für die Praxis. The development of an efficient and effective approach to Cloud Operations is a recent discussion topic in organizations, which are about to move their business services into the cloud. At the same time, there are only few scientific articles that investigate the ideal structure of Cloud Operations in organizations until now. This study is based on a qualitative case study evaluating Cloud Operations in an international organization in order to close this research gap. The case study identifies and categorizes several Cloud Operations solutions related to organizational, processual and technological measures. Based on the results the study is providing future research areas around Cloud Operations and offers an initial set of solutions for practice.
