The present work shows a concept for using the water quality model WASP5 to prognosticate the influence of changes of river morphology on water quality. Main focus are the processes in river bed sediments and surface water depending on different morphology. In addition, it will be a goal to model and quantify the influence of weirs and artificial sections of the river on its water quality.de
