- ZeitschriftenartikelAn Integrated Tool Suite for Model-Driven Software Migration towards Service-Oriented Architectures(Softwaretechnik-Trends Band 31, Heft 2, 2011) Fuhr, Andreas; Horn, Tassilo; Riediger, VolkerModel-driven approaches as well as migration projects rely on a strong tool support. As part of the SOAMIG project, a tool suite has been developed, supporting the model-driven migration of legacy Java and COBOL systems towards Service-oriented Architectures (SOAs). The tool suite integrates a global repository (representing business processes, code and architecture) and capabilities for (i) parsing legacy artifacts (code and project specific architecture constructs), (ii) analyzing legacy code (static and dynamic analysis) and (iii) transforming artifacts.
- ZeitschriftenartikelDynamic Analysis for Model Integration (Extended Abstract)(Softwaretechnik-Trends Band 30, Heft 2, 2010) Fuhr, Andreas; Horn, Tassilo; Riediger, VolkerIn reengineering, legacy systems have to be analyzed from different viewpoints. Models dealing with certain aspects of a system are used for that purpose, most of which are generated by fact extractors and parsers. Since all of those models describe certain aspects of the same system, they have to be integrated with each other to allow a comprehensive analysis of the system as a whole. This paper presents an approach using dynamic analysis to identify and manifest relationships between static model elements. It exemplifies the approach by integrating a business process model with a source code model.

- KonferenzbeitragModel-driven software migration(Software Engineering 2010, 2010) Fuhr, Andreas; Horn, Tassilo; Winter, AndreasIn this paper we propose model-driven techniques to migrate legacy systems into Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA). The proposal explores how querying and transformation techniques on TGraphs enable the integration of legacy assets into a new SOA. The presented graph-based approach is applied to the identification and migration of services in an open source Java software system.
- ZeitschriftenartikelTowards Generic Services for Software Reengineering(Softwaretechnik-Trends Band 34, Heft 2, 2014) Fuhr, Andreas; Riediger, Volker; Ebert, JürgenDifferent software reengineering projects often perform similar reengineering tasks. This paper presents an industrial case study about an architecture recovery of a batch system using generic reengineering services. The case study is evaluated to identify key concerns for a generic approach.
