- KonferenzbeitragArchitektur für verteilte, agentenbasierte Workflows(Service-Oriented Electronic Commerce, Proceedings zur Konferenz im Rahmen der Multikonferenz Wirtschaftsinformatik 2006, 2006) Reese, Christine; Offermann, Sven; Moldt, DanielDie Koordination der Zusammenarbeit zwischen räumlich und zeitlich getrennten Unternehmensabteilungen und Geschäftspartnern stellt einen wichtigen Aspekt bei der Realisierung von Informationssystemen für global agierende und kooperierende Unternehmen dar. Um entsprechende verteilte Anwendungen umzusetzen, werden verschiedene verbreitete Konzepte und technische Mittel genutzt. Die Koordination von auszuführenden Aktivitäten um Geschäftsziele zu erreichen ist die Anwendungsdomäne von Workflow-Management-Systemen (WFMS). Beim Einsatz von WFMS zur Koordinierung von Abläufen zwischen selbstständigen und wechselnden global verteilten Organisationseinheiten ergeben sich besondere Anforderungen im Bereich der Flexibilität, der Autonomie und der Koordination entsprechender Systeme. Basierend auf der formalen Technik der höheren Petrinetze stellt diese Arbeit eine konzeptionelle, auf Agenten basierende Workflow-Architektur vor. Eine sich aus der Kombination dieser formalen Ansätze ergebende innovative Architektur wurde bereits in [ROO+05] vorgestellt. In dieser Arbeit wird zum einen eine Architekturerweiterung zur Integration existierender Informationssysteme auf Basis von WebServices vorgestellt. Zum anderen wird die Architektur im Hinblick auf interorganisationale Workflows präzisiert.

The metrics used to measure and manage performance compliance to SLA commitments are the heart of a successful agreement and are a critical long term success factor. Lack of experience in the use and automation of performance metrics causes problems for many organizations as they attempt to formulate their SLA strategies and set the metrics needed to support those strategies. This paper contributes to a systematic categorization of SLA contents with a particular focus on SLA metrics. The intended goal is to support the design and implementation of automatable SLAs based on efficient metrics for automated monitoring and reporting. The categorization facilitates design decisions, analysis of existing SLAs and helps to identify responsibilities for critical IT processes in disruption management during the execution of SLAs.

To increase the usability of a query result, the results should be ordered with regard to their relevance, that is, the similarity of the query and the result list entry. Although there exist service discovery solutions considering workflow aspects, there is no support of ordering the result list. However, there exist several similarity measures in different research areas, which are applied in this paper to workflow similarity based on Finite State Automata.

It may be solved by the implementation of a Push System that supports the webshop. One major module of the Push System is the Pushflow Manager that proactively leads customers through their processes by taking over tasks or triggering following activities. Its theoretical background, the Push Concepts, prototype implementation as well as transfer into practical surroundings are presented.
- KonferenzbeitragAn implementation to transform business collaboration models to executable process specifications(Service-Oriented Electronic Commerce, Proceedings zur Konferenz im Rahmen der Multikonferenz Wirtschaftsinformatik 2006, 2006) Ilgner, Michael; Zapletal, MarcoUN/CEFACT's Modeling Methodology (UMM) is a well accepted and formal notation to analyze and design B2B business processes. In a service oriented architecture (SOA) environment process specification languages like the Business Process Specification Schema (BPSS) are used to configure B2B information systems. However, mappings from UMM models to BPSS process specifications currently exist just on a conceptual level. This results in a gap between defined B2B processes and BPSS configurable e-commerce systems. Thus, a model driven code generation of BPSS descriptions is required. In this paper we present a technical implementation of a transformation engine that generates BPSS process specifications from a UMM model represented in the XML Metadata Interchange (XMI) language. This implementation bridges the gap mentioned above. It has been used in the EU project GILDAnet to generate BPSS descriptions from logistic processes modeled in UMM.

Das Market Engineering definiert dafür einen strukturierten Entwicklungsprozess. Vor der Einführung der neu entwickelten Märkte im Rahmen des Market Engineering Prozesses müssen diese aber erst getestet und evaluiert werden. Dazu können Laborexperimente einen wichtigen Beitrag leisten. Dieses Paper beschreibt das meet2trade Experimental System (MES) als ein Tool, um solche Experimente schnell und einfach konfigurieren und durchführen zu können.
- KonferenzbeitragTowards an XML-based framework for web usage mining(Service-Oriented Electronic Commerce, Proceedings zur Konferenz im Rahmen der Multikonferenz Wirtschaftsinformatik 2006, 2006) Honsel, Kai; Schneider, BerndCurrent systems for Web Usage Mining (WUM) offer graphical and interactive ways of using the implemented methods, but do not support individual multilevel or complex analyses. Based on those systems it is neither possible to perform flexible nor regular automated evaluations based on predefined evaluation schemes for offering WUM as a service. We present an extensible framework for WUM, which describes a unified WUM process and hence supports the application of any existing WUM method. The core of our framework is a XML language called Web Usage Mining Markup Language (WUMML) that provides a vocabulary for representing and querying WUM data. WUMML uses XML standards like XPath or XQuery and supports the specification of new commands for previously not integrated WUM methods. By using WUM software that implements the WUM framework, a company is able to perform WUM analysis efficiently and is - in combination with the technical expertise - capable to professionally offer WUM as service.
