The adaptation of conceptual information models to specific requirements has been discussed for several years. Especially, different approaches to information model configuration have reached certain popularity. Nevertheless, up to now, model configuration is not supported sufficiently by recent modeling tools. In this paper, we present the implementation of a meta model based model configuration approach in order to close this gap. The results of the implementation are two modeling tool add-ons that enable model configuration based on the modeling tools ARIS and H2. The implementation was conducted in the course of a teaching seminar at the University of Münster. Besides the configuration approach as well as architectures and functionalities of the developed tools, we discuss teaching experiences.en
