| dc.description.abstract | Beginning with the question, what challenges do the environment policy stand vis-à-vis at the beginning of the 21th century, current fundamentals and principles of the environment policy of the EU, Germany and the federal state of Brandenburg are presented. Requirements to meet by the informatics from the point of view of the environment policy are formulated. As examples for fields of application for informatics are mentioned: GIS in ecological planning, environmental education and raise the environmental awareness, advance public information, using of indicators in evaluating of funding, establishment of eco-management systems in enterprises and support in political decision-making. Experiences and Examples in using IT-systems in the administration of the state of Brandenburg are presented. | de |
