This paper introduces techniques for interactive navigation within large sets of bibliographic data. The
main conceptual idea is to use various relations between the entries to navigate within the information
space. A visualisation that supports both the display of the data itself and the relations is introduced.
Interaction techniques offer possibilities to follow relations and, thus, create new views onto the data.
The proposed visualisation and interaction techniques improve literature analysis tasks that occur when
writing a scientific document or when reviewing and exploring a scientific topic based on literature.
