- ZeitschriftenartikelThe Concept of a Process- and Experiment-oriented Programming Language(elektronische datenverarbeitung: Vol. 10, 1970) Brandes, J; Eichentopf, S.; Elzer, P.; Frevert, L.; Haase, V.; Mittendorf, H.; Müller, G.; Rieder, P.The main features of a programming language for on-line-control of industrial processes and scientific experiments are described. Mainly discussed are the connections between the program and the process environment, the management of storage space and parallel activities, the synchronization of tasks, and the non-standard input-output. The paper describes structure and semantics of the language, but does not yet give an exact and definitive syntax.
- ZeitschriftenartikelA Realtime Programming Language and its Application for Measuring Processes(IFAC Proceedings Volumes, Volume 5, Issue 1, Part 1, 1972) Brandes, J; Eichenauer, B; Eichentopf, S; Elzer, P; Frevert, L; Haase,V; Holleczek, P; Kreuter, K; Mueller, G; Pfeiffer, K; Rieder, P; Schuerlein, B; Timmesfeld, K HA group of German research institutes and industrial firms has worked out a concept of a programming language for process control and experiment-automation purposes. It is on procedural language level (like e.g. PL/1) and is designed to be used by the process control engineer or physicist with not very much knowledge of programming techniques
