    A lightweight agent system for collaborative learning support

    Collaboration and interaction features to support real time activities have become an important feature of many practices and education but often can not be used because expensive equipment and sophisticated software are unavailable in standard classroom environments. We propose an approach to achieve collaboration and interaction effects in relatively simple and inexpensive way by development of lightweight agent platform supporting collaborative learning applications called Inspirational Classroom Environment (ICE). The system is written in C# and uses Microsoft .NET platform and ConferenceXP product as the basis for the development of real time collaborative applications and rich multimedia content. A case study is carried out to use the ICE system in learning children by means of collaborative drawing, animations and personal tutor agents.

    Object relational mapping techniques for .Net framework

    The paper concerns the problem of building an object-relational mapping framework based on the Microsoft .Net platform. The work uses design patterns methodology and proposes to exploit powerful features of .Net as a managed objectoriented platform such as Common Type System, custom attributes and reflection. Such approach facilitates the development, can save efforts and serves as a solid ground for further improvements. An initial implementation of the framework has been developed and successfully used to build a business information system.

    Protocols for Mobile Devices Integration in Heterogeneous Environments

    An approach to construction of new class of cross-platform communication protocols XDEP (XML Data Exchange Protocol) is proposed. The goal is to facilitate specification-independent development of the client software for mobile devices in heterogeneous environments. The new class of the protocols is self describable which does not require providing specification documents to software developers. This makes also possible to provide multiversioning of protocols to be used on the same devices.
