The purpose of Portfolio Management is to perform a collection of objects or entities (e. g., investments, facilities, risks, products, projects, customers, suppliers, etc.) in order to optimally manage expected developments. It finds its application in strategic business development, marketing, product management, planning and implementation of projects, relationship management of different stakeholder groups, or risk management. The following contribution from online customer relationship management demonstrates the strengths and weaknesses in case of applying fuzzy methods.
