Der Artikel stellt fünf Capability-Modelle für verschiedene Themengebiete von DevOps-Praktiken vor. Diese ergeben sich aus Interview-basierten Fallstudien in fünf Organisationen, deren DevOps-Anwendung und -Erfahrungen Diskussionsgrundlage war. Die Capability-Modelle beschreiben DevOps-bezogene Praktiken in den Bereichen Organisation, Infrastructure as Code, Deployment-Pipelines, Qualität und Metriken. Eine Auswahl der Praktiken wird detailliert beschrieben. Die Capability-Modelle können von Unternehmen genutzt werden, um zu bewerten, welche DevOps-Praktiken für sie relevant und vorteilhaft sein könnten.AbstractThis article demonstrates five capability models for sets of DevOps-related practices, which are derived from interview-based case studies in five organizations. The case studies’ main focus was to discuss the DevOps-related practices implemented by these organizations. The capability models describe practices with regards to organizational aspects of DevOps, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, quality and metrics. A selection of the contained practices is discussed in detail. The capability models may be used by organization to evaluate which set of DevOps practices can be considered relevant and beneficial to them.
