Zusammenfassung
In contrast to traditional learning material, e-learning promises the benefit to support the adaptation of its content according to learners' needs. Learning strategies are used to assure that those adaptations still make pedagogically sense. However, traditional learning strategies are realized at programming level and thus cannot be easily created or changed by pedagogic experts. This paper presents (1) a general formalism to consistently describe a large range of learning strategies separated from any actual content, (2) an algorithm that applies a learning strategy to arbitrary content in an optimal manner and (3) a graphical notation that allows pedagogical experts to create new or change existing strategies without any programming experience.
