Zusammenfassung
The processes of requirement engineering and software design take place during a software development. Business processes, goals, organizational models of company can be considered for specification of software requirements. Then analysis models that are used in software design are derived from functional and non-functional software requirements. Waterfall model suggests the existence of complete requirements before moving to software design stage. In iterative software development, that is more popular nowadays, requirement engineering and software design processes occur on different stages during the project. Thus, software design is constantly refined and minor improvements are made in it. The high-level architecture, on the other hand, should stay untouched in order of preventing of its destruction. The major focus of this paper are the processes of derivation of high-level architecture and software design during the iterative model of software development.
