Considering the potential market benefits as well as the importance of the environmental issues, the environmental management systems are being introduced mainly in large industrial companies. Less frequently than large organisations, small and medium-sized businesses can afford to in cure the costs connected with the EMS implementation using the services of the consulting companies and with undergoing the process of certification. That is why the fact of the EMS implementation by the medium-sized company of Metalock Polska Ltd itself deserves a lot of attention.
