| dc.description.abstract | Crises and emergencies require a rapid support from aid helper’s / emergency assis-tants. The ENSURE project is developing concepts and applications for a stronger cit-izen involvement for civil protection to guarantee a sufficient amount of volunteer emer-gency assistants in the future. In this paper the concept of the ENSURE system is described, that can generally be applied for the recruitment, administration, activation, and coordination of emergency assistants, and the results of a field test are presented. | de |
