In this short contribution, we present the first results of our research about a novel augmented hearing system extended with assistive services. Primary goal of this system is the support of elderly people in their everyday life. The key feature is the voice-user-interface embraced with a microphone and communication components enabling a speech-based system interaction. Additional ear-in sensors for vital-sign measurement can be used for health self-management. Throughout the project use-cases have been developed and a user requirements analysis was performed. The results indicate a positive attitude towards the proposed system by primary users and a high potential of adding additional value to the life of elderly people.de_DE
