To ease further European integration it has become necessary to implement an apparatus of common rules, able to guarantee juridical stability and certainty. The importance of a normative outline which is “clear and simple, predictable and coherent with the rules enforced on an international level” is underlined, not only in the "premise” 60 of the directive which highlights the necessity to avoid prejudging industrial competitiveness and technological advances through a dishomogenous discipline, but also within “premise” 7 which emphasizes how the trust of the consumers increases disproportionately to the certainty of rights with regard to several juridical aspects of electronic commerce.en
