dc.description.abstract | The Experience Factory (EF) is an infrastructure designed to support experience management (e.g., the reuse of experience) in software organizations. It supports the collection, processing, management, analysis, and dissemination of experiences made on the job. One key issue of experience management is the aggregation of these documented experiences into more valuable patterns and laws. In this article, we describe how the different activities in an experience factory can be supported by knowledge services. Knowledge services are especially valuable for maturing activities, such as formalization and generalization. We describe how to leverage Web 2.0 concepts as features of an experience management system in order to implement the knowledge services. | en |
