dc.description.abstract | Motivated by the requirements of environmental departments and of the federal environmental agency, a generic concept for developing techno-scientific and administration databases was realized with the aim of using only one software for an as large as possible number of different database applications with specific data models. The program combines a configuration module (modelling part) and an administrative module respectively with a quite complete database application. The modelling tool is integrated with the application and guarantees the consistency of those model aspects that are not in focus at each step. The application provides fine graded object structures, historised types, different list types and pointers as well as overall-structures for the management of different data models, data sources and model views. This makes it easy to create even very complex models. | de |
