dc.description.abstract | With increasing dynamics in the research environment – of product development – the technical requirements for future decision-making processes are also increasing in addition to complexity. The introduction of new IT systems for the automation of decisions results in adjustments to the current business processes of the companies. For a successful implementation of new IT information tools, it is necessary to examine in advance possible effects on the existing user systems in more detail. In science, new technologies, AI information systems and new knowledge are often created by interpreting and synthesizing existing knowledge. For this reason, the quality of literature analyses is becoming increasingly relevant in engineering and computer science. In addition to the number of publications, the effort for structured literature research (SLA) is also growing. In this paper, the authors present the research process and the results of a structured literature analysis. The purpose of this paper is to identify the current state of research on decision support in the product development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) as well as large companies in the automotive industry and, after analysis and evaluation, to identify possible research gaps on automated decision support systems (aDSS). The paper ends with an outlook on future research work on aDSS. | de |
