dc.description.abstractDie swissICT Fachgruppe IT-Servicemanagement – Themenbereich Bewusstsein hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, ein Rahmenwerk zur wertschöpfungsorientierten Steuerung der IT zu entwickeln, und zwar unabhängig von der Breite der erbrachten Dienstleistungen oder Services und unabhängig von der Wertschöpfungstiefe des IT-Providers. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt den aktuellen Stand der weitergehenden Arbeit und zeigt auf, in welche thematischen Perspektiven, Domänen und Elemente sich die IT-Wertschöpfung gliedern lässt. Neben einer summarischen Darstellung des methodischen Vorgehens wird das Rahmenwerk an sich beschrieben. Ebenfalls wird die Dokumentation von CIOverview dargestellt, aber auch die Tailoring-Methode als Voraussetzung zur Adaptierung des Kennzahlensystems entsprechend der Wertschöpfungstiefe des IT-Serviceproviders. Ferner wird auf Ausschnitte des Kennzahlensystems eingegangen und der Nutzen von CIOverview thematisiert.AbstractUntil nowadays there is no consensus about how to control and manage IT in enterprises and public administrations. IT governance and management frameworks exist but may be too detailed for the perspective of an ICT value chain and its steering from the CIO perspective. This is why CIOverview was developed. Other reasons were to facilitate IT steering and control and to give IT controlling a new direction. CIOverview is an IT controlling framework for a value chain based steering of IT. The tailoring of the IT value chain enables also the discussion of different business models in the IT service management domain. We also present a key performance indicator system for IT controlling and a tailoring methodology. CIOverview is an open framework and thus merits additional developments and may therefore promote future research perspectives on IT management and IT controlling.
