Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are a substantial part of modern business. For this reason it is not astonishing that their complexity grows with assigned requirements. Therefore, it is vital and sustainable to invest into recruitment of new ERP experts. System-integrated (business) simulation games form a new educational approach adapting theoretical concepts on a practical framework. In this paper, an architectural design proposition for such systems is presented. First considerations revealed that several technical and organisational challenges have to be solved: e.g. the integration into the system landscape of a software provider, the communication through interfaces or the pedagogical objective. All those issues may influence one or multiple components or even the entire architecture itself.en
