dc.description.abstractEnergy is a scarce resource in wireless field bus systems. Strategies for power saving while coping with the application task are needed. This paper introduces the sendOnDelta-principle known from wired field bus systems. In the context of wireless sensor networks the method is analyzed and conclusions for power saving reserves are drawn.en
