E-government requires more attention from researchers to investigate the factors that predict the success of such initiative. This study used secondary data from international reports to investigate the relationship between transparency and e-government development. Two measures used for transparency: the corruption perception index (CPI) and the open budget index (OBI) and were regressed to see their prediction power for e-government readiness index (EGRI). Both relationships were significant and indicated a high prediction power of the e- government development level. Data analysis, discussion, conclusion, and future work are depicted at the end of this work.en
