In very general terms, a method describes a systematic procedure for problem solving including the required aids and resources. This paper is a continuation of our earlier work that reported on the practices and experiences in the development of a component-based context modelling method in the area of information systems development. The contributions of the paper are (1) the detailed development process of the context modelling method, with a particular focus on artefact evaluation by means of the Framework for Evaluation in Design Science Research (FEDS) (2) additional experiences and lessons learned from the method engineering and application process.en
