The main source of spatial information on dry and wet deposition of air pollutants is continental scale EMEP model with 50x50 km grid, thus the resolution of the output may be insufficient for regional scale studies. A new proposal is an atmospheric transport model FRAME (Fine Resolution Atmospheric Multi-pollutant Exchange) originally developed for United Kingdom. FRAME was used to asses the spatial patterns of yearly averaged air concentrations, wet and dry deposition maps for the area of Poland with 5 km resolution. This study presents preliminary results of modelling the yearly average concentrations as well as dry and wet deposition of SOx, NOx and NHx for Poland. The results obtained show good correlation with measurements. The FRAME model, despite its relatively simple meteorological parameterisations, is well suited to calculate average annual concentration and deposition of pollutants.de
