dc.description.abstract | Chemical Weather (CW) and other geospatial environmental information produced by numerical models are often published on-line in the form of heatmaps which have undergone several lossy processing and transformation steps, resulting in a relatively low visualization and recoverable data, compared to the model data which generated them,. In this paper, a method which is finetuned to the partial reconstruction of such chemical weather data starting from discrete-level heatmaps is presented, which relies on the augmentation of ordinary interpolation methods through the use of peak-limiting functions and other constraining methods. | de |
