| dc.description.abstract | This contribution describes a database to collect inventory data about Alpine glaciers derived from heterogeneous sources integrating field surveys and remote sensing. It follows principles of international projects in the field. To improve perception of ongoing phenomena in the Alps, an online viewer has been also implemented exploiting open, free and standard technologies.
