dc.description.abstractDer Aufsatz gibt einen Überblick über den Entwicklungsstand der Technologie von Semantic-Web-Services. Im Mittelpunkt steht der Vergleich zwischen der akademischen Forschung und der tatsächlichen Akzeptanz in der Wirtschaft. Der Beitrag schließt mit einer Betrachtung der Gründe für die zögerliche Anwendung der Technologie.AbstractThis article aims at providing an overview of the current state of development of Semantic Web services technology. The focus is on a comparison between the research held in the academia and the Semantic Web services adoption in the industry. The reasons that hamper the application of this technology are also given.
