Entrepreneurial software engineering gains increasing interest in research and practice, as it is not necessary to be an experienced software engineer to start a software startup. Nevertheless, there are (e.g., quality and security) requirements that need to be fulfilled. Based on a proposed solution fo a systematic software development for early-stage startups, we identify the methodological and technical priorities of software startups. This summary refers to the paper “Hacking or Engineering? Towards an Extended Entrepreneurial Software Engineering Model” [KMK22].
