dc.description.abstractWhile in recent years the Quality and Environmental Management backbone has experienced substantial growth through the introduction of ISO 14001:1996 and ISO 9000:2000 families of standards, little has changed in the information-computing systems serving the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the Environment Management Systems (EMS). Through the present contribution, author introduces the Acsymiry © 2001 project developed at the Department of Computer Systems and Technologies of the Technical University of Gabrovo, Bulgaria. Acsymiry © stands for ‘Adaptive Computer System for Managing and Controlling the Information Resources Inside Quality Management Systems’.de
