dc.description.abstractMore than ever, computing devices are becoming more powerful and networked, organizational boundaries are dissolving, and underlying information systems become more complex, thus requiring higher degrees of autonomic behavior of the business processes and software services they support. In this keynote talk the main challenges towards building the required novel conceptual abstractions as well as needed technological implementations are presented and discussed.en
