Today, citizens can access a lot of environmental information online, but two-way electronic interaction still is not very common. The common practice of environmental information systems is one-way flow of information - usually establishing public access to internet-based applications - is a limited paradigm. This paper is based on a first usability test of how blogging and mobile weblogging of official and user-created environmental information performs as a two-way communication tool for environmental information exchange. With the future possibilities of mobile devices, mobile weblogging will bring new opportunities for two-way environmental information exchange between citizens and public administrations.de
