The life science industry adopts Semantic Web technology to realize novel applications that reduce product development costs, leverage collaboration in research or improve regulatory submissions. The “ICD-10 explorer” presented in this paper is a Microsoft SharePoint-based application to explore the standard classification of diseases. We demonstrate that Semantic Web technologies help to realize this specific application. With GRASP we present an extension to SharePoint that makes Semantic Data accessible for a number of application classes, e.g. document retrieval, information dashboards, or semantic data integration.en
