This paper proposes a maturity model for assessing and enhancing the quality of asset information in engineering organisations. It is also intended to assist in the enhancement of the collection, storage and use of engineering asset information with the aim of enhancing the Information Quality (IQ) in order to improve organisational learning and decision making. Action research methodology is adopted to allow researchers to test and further refine this model with relevant Engineering Asset Management Organisations (EAMOs).en
