Link analysis is the most important application of web structure mining and serves as a new knowledge source in web information retrieval. However, the mono-dimensional analysis of links neglects many other structural aspects. The results presented in this article show that the structure of a site affects the in-links for its pages. Link analysis algorithms need to be refined in order to account for that fact.en
