Model consistency, e.g., to keep an architectural model and a source code model of a system consistent, is a topic of active research, driven by a need from industry. Academic approaches, e.g., Vitruvius, provide solutions to such pressing problems, but often lack usability, e.g., for collaborative modeling, which is a use case we want to provide in the future. To improve the usability of Vitruvius, we extended it with server client functionality. This improves the usability, but may introduce performance disadvantages. Thus, we investigated and compared the performance of our new server-client implementation to local instances, which are monolithic, to estimate the additional overhead. The results indicate that the server-client implementation can add minimal overhead.en
