The UDK is introduced in Austria and Germany. This article addresses problems and solutions concerning harmonisation of metainformation. Special interest is given to aspects of collecting and querying metainformation as well as the use of UDK as a meta component of other information systems. The newly developed Virtual UDK allows to start a parallel query in the Internet applications of all involved UDK co-operation partners.Text/Conference Paper
