These analyses and predictions are based on parameterized performance specifications. However, the quality of the specifications and their trustworthiness usually remain unspecified. In existing approaches, it remains unclear if a specification can be reused in another context and which effect its use may have on the quality of the analysis or prediction. In this paper, we propose a test-based approach to validate parameterized performance specifications against deployed component implementations. The validation is used to certify the quality and valid parameter ranges of the specifications.enProduct certification of component performance specificationsText/Conference Paper1617-5468
