To cope with this development, novel mechanisms utilizing tangible interactions provide new and more engaging ways of user authentication. In this work we implement Rubik’s Cube Auth, a prototype that allows to use a standard 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube as a working authentication mechanism. We found that the concept of Rubik’s Cube Auth was received positively and discuss possible steps for future research, such as conducting user studies to evaluate our prototype, adding a second authentication factor and possible improvements of our prototype.enRubik’s CubeAuthenticationTUIHardware PrototypingRubik's Cube Auth - A Tangible Authentication Mechanism Using A Standard Rubik’s CubeText/Workshop Paper10.18420/muc2022-mci-ws14-457
