According to DPSIR model (10), environmental agencies are in charge of measuring the State and Pressure and evaluate the Impact in order to define the most suitable Responses; this implies data analysis and reporting activities, as one of their core responsibilities. E2SP offers a novel approach to them, as it is the first Environmental Information System which combines the advantages of first-rate consolidated technology (such as Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse) and innovative architecture tailored to environmental data management. E2SP supplies a wide range of environmental management tasks (integrating data, analysis, calculating indices and indicators, reporting, emission inventories, modelling, etc.).Text/Conference Paper
