Hospitals can access critical patient information and billing data from anyplace and anytime, including community clinics, patient homes, or at the scene of an emergency. In this article, we will present a mobile hospital solution that is based on DB2 Ev- eryplace. DB2 Everyplace extends the power of database systems to handheld devices for the ever-growing mobile business environment. The article continues with a medical scenario that describes an application for home care nurses.
