The aim of the study was to explore the possibilities and limits of modelling the actual, time-averaged background electromagnetic field over an extended region, taking into account a 3-dimensional topographical and building model. The comparison of the model results with exploratory measurements gave a remarkably good agreement and allowed to identify the most realistic propagation models.Text/Conference Paper
