According to the author a strong interaction exists in many fields, like environmental databases and information systems. Databases without their use and evaluation are only data cemeteries. For an effective use of environmental information the data-analysis is of utmost importance. In this paper the mathematical and statistical evaluation of the contents of 12 databases is demonstrated. Environmental chemicals are taken as an example.Evaluation of Environmental Chemicals in Databases: An Example for the Interdisciplinarity between Environmental Informatics and Environmetrics/ChemometricsText/Conference Paper
