Explicit choreography notations have been included in the upcoming version 2.0 of the Business Process Model and Notation language (BPMN 2.0). This paper presents a first evaluation of the choreography modeling capabilities of BPMN 2.0 and presents a summary of the evaluation of BPEL-based approaches.
