This study used secondary data from international reports to investigate the relationship between transparency and e-government development. Two measures used for transparency: the corruption perception index (CPI) and the open budget index (OBI) and were regressed to see their prediction power for e-government readiness index (EGRI). Both relationships were significant and indicated a high prediction power of the e- government development level.
