However, there are limited applications for vulnerable road users (VRU) to collaborate with the infrastructure and other users. This position paper proposes integrating V2X into active noise-canceling (ANC) headphones to enhance safety and reduce stress in traffic by incorporating warning sounds when required. In previous research, we explored the use of augmented soundscapes played through ANC headphones, utilizing signals and altered step sounds to convey cues and warn pedestrians of potential collisions. The potential of this application in supporting drivers of micromobility vehicles, such as e-scooters, is discussed. Additionally, this paper presents a scenario involving the soundscape of a concert to illustrate the concept for novel forms of future multimodal mobility. We conclude this paper by discussing how such an application could be evaluated.Enhancing Safety and User Experience in Micromobility with V2X-Enabled ANC HeadphonesText/Workshop Paper10.18420/muc2023-mci-ws03-267
